Tips for Indoor spinning
ARE YOU READY FOR YOUR FIRST INDOOR SPINNING CLASS?
Those interested in taking an indoor spin class would benefit from the following tips:
- Arrive 10 minutes early to set up bike
- bring water bottle
- bring towel
- dress in compression shorts or cycling shorts
- snug fitting shirt or tank top
- wear sneakers or indoor cycling shoes
When you arrive, introduce yourself the your instructor and let he or she know you are new to indoor cycling. Have your instructor help you set your bike which will include:
- Seat Height
- Position of your knee in relation to your foot (forward or back adjustment of the seat)
- Handlebar height
- Position of reach of upper body to handle bar (forward or back adjustment to handlebar)
Now that you are ready to enjoy the RIDE. Be sure to go at your own pace, not be influenced by Cindi cyclist beside you, and remember, above all…..HAVE FUN!!!
