sign up

Signing up for classes can be a stressful and time consuming task, but there are ways to make it easier. The first step in signing up for classes is meeting with your adviser. That is one of the most important things you can do when registering for a new semester. Ask the advisers questions, they are they to help you and make things easier. It is always good to go to the adviser with your degree audit, but also an idea of the classes that you are signing up for. If you don't understand something or don't understand why you need a certain class, ask them. I like to leave my advising sessions with an understanding of the classes I'm going to take and a few back up options in case they are full or don't fit my schedule, and of course, my pin so I can register. The next step is to see when you sign up, and write this day and time down. You don't want to forget your registration time because classes go fast. The next step is the stressful step, to me at least. I like to sit down before my registration time, go through the classes I am taking, and write what time and day they offered. I then like to choose my classes based on whats best for my schedule, like no early morning classes. After you have figured out your schedule and you know the classes and their sections the next step is to wait for your registration time. When that day and time approaches all you have to do is sign up for the classes and then you are done. A good tip is to always have like 2 backup classes in case you can't get into one of classes you wanted. Other then that you should be ready for the new semester and classes. I hope this makes it easier for you to register for your classes.

Good Luck!
