How to pick a place to live

When you are looking for a place to live in a new area or one you've already spent time in, there are a few things you will want to consider.

*The location is most important; is it close to school or work?
*Is the neighborhood geared towards what you will be looking for?
*House or Apartment? If you want a house, do you want a fenced yard or a small yard?
*Storage is something to consider.
*Make sure the interior is big enough.

These things should help you make a list of what you are looking for and ais you in selecting a new place to live.
The first thing to account for when searching for a new place to live is who you are living with and what living situation fits you best. For example if you are living with one friend you are going to need to search for a smaller place than if you were to room with more people. Also, financial matters play a big role in choosing your new home. If your roommates and yourself are tight with money, you may want to consider living within the mile markers of campus so you can save money on a parking pass. Doing this may save around a months worth of rent! In addition to your roommate situation, you may want to have a pet. This may pose some difficulty in most apartment complexes depending on the desired pet's size. All in all you need to find the best place that fits you, the best way to do this is to go check out the possible locations by calling the apartment complex or Realtor to set up an appointment to view the available space.
