Getting Involved

Getting Involved

The best time for you to get involved in campus activities is immediately. Without taking interests in particular areas, you run a risk of going through college without taking advantage of all the experiences and opportunities that are here for you.

How?

No matter what your interests are, there is a club for you. Whether it is an intramural soccer club, an entrepreneurship club, Seahawk Links, or getting involved with greek life, UNCW has it and wants you to take advantage of that fact. This is such a great opportunity to meet a diverse array of people and really feel like an active part of, not only the UNCW community, but the Wilmington community as well. Start by attending the Involvement Carnival at the beginning of each semester. This is an event that hosts almost every club on campus as well as many other local places in the Wilmington area. If you missed the Involvement Carnival for this semester, then head over to the CAIC office located upstairs in the Fisher Student Union. They have a list of all the organizations that we offer here on this campus! If for some reason, one of those don't fit your needs, then you can even start your own organization! That's right, you can start your own club. It only takes you and two other people to start a club on campus.
So, what are you waiting for?
