Clubs

If you are looking for ways to meet new people and get involved with the school it would be a good idea to look into joining a few clubs or organizations.

There are so many great clubs on campus to choose from. You have your standard clubs like basketball, flag football, softball, and Ultimate, as well as some not so standard clubs like Quidditch. There are other clubs besides sports. One such club is anime club where people can and talk to others about manga/anime/video games to their hearts content. Another such club is Spanish club where members actively participate in learning about the Spanish culture. Clubs are a good way to learn more about campus life by connecting with others who share similar interests. Go online and see what clubs sound interesting and join them, you'll be glad you did. If you are interested in this class and MIS, you could sign up to be in the ISA, or Information Systems Association. It is a great club that focuses on technology and it even has guest speakers from local tech companies!

Organizations on campus are filled with amazing, wonderful people that would love to have more members. Some organizations strive to make the campus better while other organizations try to make a family with its members so that they will have lifelong acquaintances. The Resident Hall Association is one of the finest organizations on campus that will listen to students that have problems with the campus and can improve it anyway they can. Additionally, they meet with other schools at conferences and see what they can learn from each other to make the campus the best place to live. Fraternity's and Sorority's are other organizations that have many chapters throughout the United States. Those try to encourage members to be the best they can be and let them know that the other members will always be there to help them out when they are in a rut.

These are some examples of clubs and organizations on campus that are always looking for new members and is a great place to make lifelong friends and improve yourself.
